*LONDON: *Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) supreme leader Nawaz Sharif hashinted at chaos if he is sent to jail in so called corruption cases againsthim.
He said that Pakistan will continue to descend into anarchy if country’selected prime ministers are either sent to the gallows, jail or are exiled.
Speaking to media in the British capital, Sharif said that elected primeministers have been dislodged from office or the elected governments timeand again in the country.
“What kind of Pakistan we want to bequeath to the coming generations. Thisall is unfortunate and needed careful consideration,” the PML-N leadersaid. “If this is not stopped, God forbidden, Pakistan will keep facinganarchy,” he added.
He continued that Pakistan is not respected in the Commonwealth, addingthat when the country moves forward to achieve a respectful place in theworld, it is faced with many obstacles.
Sharif urged everyone to pray for his ailing wife Begum Kulsoom who isundergoing cancer treatment at a hospital in London.
