LONDON – Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif has revealed that Kulsoom Nawazcondition has deteriorated further in London.
He has confirmed on Thursday that the recently conducted positron emissiontomography (PET) and gallium scan had pointed out cancer growth in herwife, Kulsoom Nawaz’s body.
In a brief interaction with newsmen in London, Nawaz Sharif said that hiswife Begum Kulsoom Nawaz was undergoing radiotherapy and six chemotherapysessions had been done.
The Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz ‘Quaid for life’ said that the doctorshad advised going for radiotherapy, as Begum Kulsoom had already undergonesurgeries, Geo News reported.
“There were also other issues due to which she has had to be admitted tothe hospital, please pray for her good health and well being of all thepatients in the world.” said the former premier.
Begum Kulsoom travelled to the British capital in August last year, whereshe was diagnosed with Lymphoma. Currently, she is admitted to the PrincessGrace Hospital in London.
Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam had arrived in London on Wednesdaynight to inquire after the health of Begum Kulsoom Nawaz. High CommissionerSyed Ibne Abbas welcomed the former lawmaker at London’s Heathrow Airport.
