*ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court of Pakistan has announced the verdict inAnchorperson Dr Shahid Masood case. *
*SC has slapped a three-month-long ban on anchorperson Dr Shahid Masood’sTV talk show*.
Headed by Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar, a bench of the apex court, gavethis order while hearing a case pertaining to the anchorperson’s claimsabout the convicted murderer and rapist of Kasur’s little Zainab.
Earlier in the day, Dr Masood came in for a lot of flak for mocking afederal law officer in his TV talk show following the previous hearing onMarch 12.
The chief justice expressed extreme displeasure over him, saying: “How dareShahid Masood mocked my law officer.”
The bench while calling for a short break asked the court office to get anelectronic screen projector ready to view his recent news programme inwhich he was seen supposedly mocking the state counsel.
