SHIKARPUR – Four bogies of goods train going to Quetta from Sukkurderailed near Shikarpur Railway Station on late Monday night.
The accident disrupted the train service at the up and down tracks betweenSindh and Balochistan. No loss of life was reported in the accident.
Railway authorities have dispatched rescue teams along with a crane fromRohri Loco Shed to clear the railway tracks. Railway sources informed thatthe rescue work has been started and the tracks will be cleared in sixhours.
All the passenger trains running between Balochistan and Sindh were stoppeda various railway stations as traffic on both the tracks was disrupted.
