US President Donald Trump has unveiled a new National Security Strategy.
Announcing the strategy in Washington on Monday, he said the United States has no choice but to deal with the challenge posed by North Korea’s nuclear and missiles programmes.
Despite Pakistan’s unprecedented sacrifices and losses in the fight against terrorism, President Trump said the US wants Islamabad to take decisive action to help fight extremism.
Pakistan has sacrificed lives of more than seventy five thousand civilians and men in uniform while combating the scourge of terrorism.
It also suffered economic losses to the tune of over one hundred billion dollars.
Pakistan destroyed all the terrorists’ sanctuaries along the Pak-Afghan border during its latest military operations in these areas.
