ISLAMABAD – Pakistani politician Krishna Kumari Kohli has been honored bythe BBC.
She was featured on BBC 100 Women 2018 listlink. The listfeatures 100 inspiring and influential women from around the world for 2018.
The BBC list includes women who are leaders, trailblazers and everydayheroes. Women from over 60 countries from the age of 15 to 94 have beenincluded.
About the Pakistani leader, the lists states, “Krishna was elected to thePakistan Senate after campaigning for women’s rights, having previouslybeen forced into bonded labour for three years.”
