Iran makes an offer to Pakistan

*ISLAMABAD – Iran has made an offer to Pakistan over war against terrorismand securing the Pakistan Iran borders.*

*Iran has offered that it was ready to collaborate with Pakistan in fightagainst terrorism by carrying out joint border operations and putting inplace an effective intelligence sharing mechanism.*

According to Iran’s local media, Iranian Interior Minister Abdol-RezaRahmani-Fazli appreciated Pakistan’s efforts in recovery of the abductedIranian border guards.

He said Pakistan extended good cooperation for release of those abductees.

Fazli said the two countries could carry out joint border operations andenjoy much intelligence cooperation.

Last week, the Pakistani armed forces and law enforcement agencies hadsafely recovered five Iranian guards who were abducted on the southeasternborder between the two countries last month.

Foreign Office Spokesperson Dr Muhammad Faisal said that the five abductedIranian guards were recovered safely with concerted efforts of thePakistani armed forces and law enforcement agencies.
