ISLAMABAD – * The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) on Tuesdayannounced the written result of the Competitive Examination-2018.*
The passing percentage is 4.79 percent with respect to candidates appearedin the CSS exams, 11,887, as only 569 out of the appeared students havepassed the written test.
The FPSC in a press release said that passed candidates will be intimatedschedule of medical examination, psychological assessment and viva voce indue course of time.
In June 2018, the FPSC announced the final results of CE-2017, the passpercentage of finally qualified candidates was only 3.30 percent.
310 candidates qualified the CSS examination 2017. Out of them 261 wererecommended by the FPSC for appointment to posts in BS 17 under the federalgovernment in various groups of services.

As many as 9,391 candidates were appeared in the written examination, outof which 312 passed in written examination. A total of 310 candidates hadfinally qualified for Viva Voce. Among them, 199 candidates were male and111 female candidates.
As many as 261 candidates were recommended for appointments including 155male and 106 female candidates. The recommended candidates were directed tocontact Section officer, Establishment Division, Islamabad for furthercorrespondence.
