ISLAMABAD – Azerbaijan Prime Minister Novruz Mammadov also congratulatedImran on his election as the prime minister of Pakistan.
Novruz Mammadov, in a translated message issued by the Azeri Embassy inIslamabad on Sunday, said that Pakistan and Azerbaijan were linked withstrategic partnership and close relations which originated from the will oftheir friendly and brotherly peoples.
He said that he was sure that the bilateral cooperation based on mutualconfidence, trust and support would further improve and expand by the jointefforts in the years ahead, congenial to the interests of the two statesand peoples.
The Azeri prime minister also extended greetings to Imran and PakistaniMuslims on the occasion of Eidul Azha, what he said epitomised the highmoral values.
Mammadov wished Imran Khan success in the future endeavours for the welfareof the people of Pakistan.
