Pir Hameeduddin Sialvi to set course for Data Darbar sitin

ISLAMABAD – Pir of Sial Khawaja Hameeduddin Sialvi on Friday announced tostage sit-in at Data Darbar tomorrow (Saturday) which will continue tillthe resignation of Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah.

Hundreds of people including religious clerics will attend the protestsit-in.

Nizamuddin Sialvi said that Pir Khawaja Hameeduddin Sialvi will leave forLahore tomorrow at 10am from Sial Shareef and will reach Lahore via PindiBhattian.

The Pir of Sial Sharif had postponed the January 13 visit to Data Darbar inthe wake of the Kasur and Sargodha incidents.

The Sargodha-based spiritual leader has been demanding the resignation ofthe provincial law minister over his controversial remarks about religiousminority Ahmedi community with regard to Khatm-e-Nabuwwat. He said theprotestors would stay at Data Darbar till Rana Sanaullah resigns.

It is pertinent here to mention that Pir Sialvi had called for theresignation of Rana Sanaullah. Sialvi had also warned Punjab Chief MinisterShahbaz Sharif to take resignation from Rana Sanaullah or show him the door.

Earlier on December 10, the Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) had suffered amajor blow after five lawmakers, three MPAs and two MNAs, submitted theirresignations to Pir Sialvi.
