ISLAMABAD – Former PM Nawaz Sharif name to remain on Exit Control List,Government sources have revealed.
The name of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif is still included in theexit control list (ECL), the immigration sources said on Monday.
According to the sources, Nawaz Sharif will be allowed to travel abroadafter showing copy of court order. It added that the former premier will beable to travel London after showing court order but his name will be placedon ECL.
The family sources further informed that Nawaz Sharif has been allowed tofly abroad only for one time for the medical treatment.
Meanwhile, the former premier will leave for London on November 19 in anair ambulance from Qatar and will be shifted to the Harley Street Clinicimmediately after landing.
On Saturday , the Lahore High Court (LHC) ordered to remove the name offormer premier Nawaz Sharif from the ECL and allowed him to go abroad forfour weeks unconditionally. The permission can be extended. The case hasbeen adjourned until third week of January.
