ISLAMABAD –Pakistan lashes out at India over the irresponsible remarks ofthe Foreign Minister, calls India’s utter frustration over failure inOccupied Kashmir.
Pakistan has strongly condemned and rejected the inflammatory andirresponsible remarks by Indian external affairs minister S Jaishankarregarding Pakistan, and Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
Foreign Office in a statement in Islamabad said these remarks are anobvious manifestation of India’s utter frustration over the continuedinternational censure of its egregious human rights violations in occupiedJammu and Kashmir.
With close to a million military and security personnel incarcerating morethan 8 million Kashmiris in one of the world’s largest prison, India isobdurately committing state terrorism in the IoJ&K. India cannot divertinternational attention from its crimes against the innocent people ofIoJ&K by blaming Pakistan.
India continues to unashamedly justify the violation of Kashmiris’ humanrights. India today is also a unique and deplorable case of a state whichpromotes hate crimes against minorities and consistently fails to bring toaccount those who indulge in cow vigilantism, mob lynchings and forcedconversions and are guilty of violating India’s own laws.
The crimes committed by the Indian state in the IoJ&K for over 70 years areenough to debunk pretentious claim of India being a normal state and theso-called “largest democracy.”
Pakistan calls on the international community to take serious cognizance ofIndia’s aggressive posturing about taking ‘physical jurisdiction’ of AJK.
