ISLAMABAD – Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi says the advent of secondphase of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor will initiate a new era ofsocio-economic development in Pakistan.
Speaking at China Institute for International Strategic Studies in Beijingon Monday, he said Pakistan and China are not only strong friends, buttheir relations are based on strategic partnership.
Responding to Indian aggression in the aftermath of Pulwama incident, ShahMehmood Qureshi said Pakistan demonstrated patience and restraint.
He said Pakistan wants peace in the region and desires good relations withall its neighbours in South Asia, including India.
He said we want resolution of all outstanding issues with India throughdialogue.
The Minister, later on, took a round of CIISS and recorded his impressionsin the visitors’ book.
