JEDDAH: PTI government responds over the verdict against former presidentPervez Musharraf.

Federal Minister for Science and Technology, Fawad Chaudhry on Tuesday saidthat no one in the country expressed pleasure or comfort with the specialcourt verdict in the high treason case.

Addressing a press conference in Jeddah, the minister expressed his viewsregarding the recent death sentence awarded to Ex-Military General andPresident of Pakistan, General (retd) Pervez Musharraf.

The minister said that countries can’t function without army intervention,the General Head Quarters (GHQ) has a vital role in formation of thecountry’s security policy.

Chaudhry entailed that all state institutes must respect each other’sjurisdiction.

Apart from this the minister revealed that the Islamic Development Bank hasallocated a fund for the field of Science and Technology.

“Saudi companies should work in collusion with Pakistan in the productionof Halal food,” expressed Fawad Chaudhry.
