DUBAI – A complete sell out of the tickets of the high profile matchbetween Pakistan and India in Dubai has been reported.
The management has issued the warning to fans not to come if they don’thave tickets.
The match is the first between the bitter rivals since Pakistan inflicted a180-run defeat on India — the heaviest in the arch-rivals contests — at TheOval, London in June last year.
India will also be playing their first match in UAE since the two-matchseries in Abu Dhabi in 2006. The arch-rivals have a history of playing inSharjah between 1984-2000 which ended after India alleged match-fixing atthe venue and did not return.
Organizers said all tickets have been sold.
“The tickets are sold out so fans are requested to watch the match ontelevision because they will not be allowed an entry into the arena withouta ticket,” said organizers at Dubai stadium.
The tickets are priced at 150 dirhams, 300, 550, 750, 5000 and 6000.
