Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Secretariat is expecting savings of one hundred and sixty million rupees by the end of ongoing financial year due to reduced expenditures.
According to a statement issued by CM secretariat in Peshawar, the total expenditure incurred during ongoing fiscal year till date stands at two hundred and eighty seven point four million rupees.
The figure is expected to reach to three hundred and thirty million rupees at the end of current fiscal year as compared to preceding year in which the total expenditure of CM secretariat was four hundred and ninety two point six million rupees.
Chief Minister Mahmood Khan said that an austerity drive is being carried out as per directives of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
