Chinese Premier Li Keqiang offers thanks to Pakistan

ISLAMABAD – President Dr. Arif Alvi has said Pakistan and China believe incoexistence and non-interference and their relations are based on mutualtrust and win-win cooperation.

He was talking to Chinese Premier Li Keqiang in Beijing on Tuesday.

Welcoming the President, Premier Li Keqiang thanked Pakistan and Pakistanileadership for an all-out support to China during testing times.

He said that not only we need to enhance our cooperation to jointly fightchallenges but we must also work to demonstrate our firm commitment for amultifaceted cooperation with the international community.

Meanwhile, talking to a group of Pakistani students in Beijing, Dr. ArifAlvi urged the Pakistani students in China to start an awareness campaignon social media about Coronavirus for the benefit of Pakistani people.

The President said that Chinese government has also appreciated thedecision of Pakistan for not bringing back Pakistani students as preventionis the only way to avoid it.

Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi also urged the students to createvideos and share on social media so that Pakistanis could benefit fromtheir experience in coping with the killer disease.

The students appreciated the Chinese government to provide best care tothem.
