ISLAMABAD – Social Media giant Instagram launched a much awaited featurefor its users.
Instagram has been internally testing a “Latest Posts” feature reports*TechCrunch* link. Apop-up over the main feed and takes users to the newest content from theircircle.
The prototype was discovered by Jane Manchun Wong who generated thefollowing screenshots from the code of Instagram’s Android app.

“Welcome Back! Get caught up on the posts from [names of people you follow]and 9 more” reads the pop-up that appears over the home screen. If userstap “See Posts” instead of “Not Now” they’re directed to a separate screendisplaying recent posts.
Instagram later confirmed the legitimacy of the prototype with aspokesperson telling *TechCrunch* [and later tweeting] that “This earlyprototype is from a recent hackathon – it is not available to anyonepublicly, and we have no plans to test or launch it at this time.”
Instagram has previously tried to appease users with a “You’re All CaughtUp” insert that informed users they’d viewed all the posts of theirnetwork in the feed, if you’d scrolled past everything from the past twodays. Latest Posts may also have the same effect.
