ISLAMABAD: *Pakistan Post launches new Postal Draft Service for financialservice.*
The Pakistan Post has launched the Postal Draft Service (PDS) to furtherexpanded its scope of financial services to cater the needs of urbanpopulation and business community.
This is very competitive as the service charges are nominal and the paymentis relatively quicker compared to traditional banks, an official ofPakistan Post said.
He said this remittance service operates among Head Post Offices. “It canbe used for remittance of money by individuals or organisations” he said.He said that Pakistan Post also offers the Postal Order service. “It isdesigned to fulfil requirements for small remittances at the nominalcommission” he added.

He said that this traditional postal service facilitates prospectivestudents and would be employees to request a prospectus, application formsand other relevant information.
“Pakistan Postal Orders are issued in the denominations of Rs 10, Rs 15, Rs20, Rs 30 and Rs 50,” he said.
