Indian Military further tightens the restrictions in Occupied Kashmir capital Srinagar

ISLAMABAD – Military siege and communications lockdown in the KashmirValley and Muslim majority areas of Jammu region entered 73rd successiveday, today.

Mobile internet and broadband as well as about two million phones usingprepaid SIM cards continue to remain suspended.

Public transport continues to remain mostly absent and only privatevehicles and those with special permits can be seen on the roads.

A media report said that a number of new checkpoints have been establishedin different areas of Srinagar in the last few weeks.
