*ISLAMABAD – Over the Afghanistan endgame, Afghan Taliban announce a bigbreakthrough.*
Taliban’s political spokesman Suhail Shaheen said there is no militarysolution to the issue of Afghanistan. Shaheen further said that the groupwas ready to talk to all Afghan sides including the Afghan government aftersigning a peace deal with the United States. This was the first time thatAfghan Taliban have accepted the Afghan government offer of directdialogues.
“So whether it is the current administration or any other administration infuture, we considered them as a party to the conflict and we will have anegotiation with them alongside other Afghans,” he said.
Taliban spokesperson stressed that if U.S. President Donald Trump had notcalled off the negotiation, the peace deal would have been signed by nowand there would have been ceasefire in Afghanistan.
