GILGIT – Construction work on 3.6 megawatt Thore hydel power project inChilas, Gilgit Baltistan has been completed.
A spokesman of WAPDA in an interview with radio Pakistan Gilgit said thatthe project has been completed at a cost of 800 million rupees in fouryears.
He said the transmission line from power house to Chilas city has alreadybeen completed and electricity supply will be started from the first weekof next month.
