ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Imran Khan arrived Karachi on his first evervisit after elected as the prime minister a short while ago.
Sindh Governor Imran Ismail and Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah receivedhim at airport. Our Karachi correspondent Altaf Pirzado reports that PrimeMinister visited mausoleum of Father of Nation Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad AliJinnah, lay floral wreath and offer fateha.
He also visited mausoleums of Madr-e-Millat Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah andformer Prime Minister of Pakistan Liaquat Ali Khan and offered fateha forthem.
The prime minister will chair a high level meeting to review progress onfederal government funded projects in the city. He will also chair ameeting on law and order.
