ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan is unlikelyto wear a new Sherwani when he takes oath as prime minister on August 18, alocal media outlet reported on Tuesday.
However he decided to wear Sherwani as Quaid e Azam took oath of thehighest office in Sherwani.
An order had been placed for Khan’s Sherwani but was cancelled as part ofhis austerity drive. An order for a waistcoat was then placed but that wascancelled as well.
According to reports, Imran Khan will wear a Sherwani in accordance withtradition but not a new one.
