ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has taken a final decision overthe election of Prime Minister in the National Assembly on Friday.
PPP has decided to boycott polls for leader of the House, well-informedsources have revealed.
PPP has taken this decision after top brass decided not to vote for grandopposition’s nominee Shehbaz Sharif for elections for premier.
Sources further added that PPP’s co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari would notattend the historic session whereas chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari willaddress the House once the voting is concluded.
PPP has decided not to support Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N)candidate Shehbaz Sharif in prime minister (PM) polls citing latter’sstatements against Asif Ali Zardari in the past.
PPP leader Chaudhry Manzoor said that the decision not to back PML-N wastaken three days ago.
