ISLAMABAD – Pakistan and Afghanistan are engaged in developing a time boundrepatriation plan for early and complete return of Afghan refugees to theirhomeland.
This was stated by Foreign Office Spokesperson Dr Muhammad Faisal whilespeaking at his weekly news briefing in Islamabad today.
He said in this regard, an Afghan delegation will soon be visitingIslamabad for consultations.
Responding to a question, the spokesperson rejected as baseless theallegations hurled by Afghan officials that elements from Pakistan werealso involved in the recent terror attack in Ghazni. He said there is noevidence to back up the spurious accusations.
Dr Muhammad Faisal said Pakistan has always supported an Afghan led andAfghan owned peace process and it will welcome any ceasefire agreementbetween the parties there.
