KARACHI: Total liquid foreign reserves of the country stand at $ 16.713billion, says State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
According to a SBP’s weekly statement issued on Thursday, the foreignreserves held by the State Bank on August 10 amounted to dollars 10,152.6million. The net foreign reserves with commercial banks were $ 6,560.2million.
During the week ending August 10, SBP’s reserves decreased by $216 millionto $10,153 million, due to external debt servicing and other officialpayments.
