The vice-president of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) took to popularmicro-blogging website Twitter and stated, “As if Pak Rupee freefall wasnot ironic enough,people put in place to control it are those who’ve beenimported recently to devalue the currency&decrease our GDP growth. Theimpact of today’s devaluation- only the foreign debt has gone up by 666billion Rs.”

Keeping verbal onslaught up, Maryam added, “Strongly feel for the massesfor the misery brought about by jaali government in the last 9 months.People have been crushed under the weight of rising prices, increasing gas& electricity bills, joblessness & shrinking incomes. Everything looksbleak.”
