Saudi crown Prince Sister arrest warrants issued

PARIS – A French judge has issued an arrest warrant for the sister of SaudiCrown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for allegedly ordering her bodyguard toassault a plumber at her apartment in Paris, reported international media.

The warrant which names Princess Hassa bint Salman, daughter of Saudi KinSalman, using a French spelling of her name, Hussat ben Salmane, was out inlate December, a source said, confirming a report by Le Point magazine.

The princess had allegedly ordered her guard to beat up the worker, hiredfor renovation work at her apartment in September 2016, located on AvenueFoch in Paris.

The alleged victim claimed that he took a picture of the room whererefurbishment was to make on which the princes went angry and accused himof making photographs to sell them to media.

He alleged that the guard punched him in the face after the princes orderedhim. He went on to say that he was forced to kiss the feet of the princesfor this mistake.

AFP reported at the time of the incident that his injuries were so severethat he was ordered off work for eight days.

The bodyguard was charged on October 1, 2016, with armed violence, theft,issuing death threats and holding someone against their will.
