ISLAMABAD – The core committee’s meeting of the PTI was held in Islamabadon Thursday with Prime Minister Imran Khan in the chair.
Briefing the media persons after the meeting, Prime Minister’s SpecialAssistant on Information Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan said meeting reviewedoverall political and economic situation in the country.
The participants of meeting appreciated United Nations Security Council fordiscussing the prevailing situation in Indian Occupied Kashmir.
At domestic front, Firdous Ashiq Awan said the government has decided toinitiate further public-welfare projects both at district and nationallevels to provide relief to the people affected by heavy rain and snowfall.
Paying tribute to Pakistan’s armed forces and law enforcement agencies, shesaid the nation cannot forget huge sacrifices rendered by security forcesto eliminate terrorism and promote peace in the country.
