KUNDUZ CITY – Afghan Taliban and Afghan forces have suffered casualtiesduring a clash in the capital of northeastern Kunduz province, officialssaid on Tuesday.
Col. Ghulam Hazrat Karimi spokesman for the 20th Afghan National Army (ANA)division told Pajhwok Afghan News Taliban attacked several checkpoints inTalwaki area of Kunduz city last night.
He added three soldiers were killed and a fourth was injured in this attack.
According to Karimi, four Taliban fighters were also killed and six otherswere wounded in retaliatory attack.
He said there was no harm to civilians in the incident.
The Taliban have not commented about the clash so far.
