Lahore: The national team faces another setback as fast bowler Naseem Shahis ruled out of the Australia tour.
Following a shoulder injury, he is recovering rapidly but hasn’t startedbowling yet. Naseem Shah was advised a rest of six weeks, and aftercompleting it, he has initiated light training sessions.
However, it will take more time before he starts bowling. The possibilityof him being fit for the series against New Zealand is around fiftypercent. Naseem Shah suffered an injury during the Asia Cup twenty yearsago, and his absence in the World Cup was a significant loss for thePakistan team.
