SRINAGAR – In Occupied Kashmir, normal life continues to remain paralyzedon the 72nd straight day, Tuesday (today), across the territory.
Restrictions continue to remain imposed, shops closed and schools andoffices are empty and public transport is off the roads.
Heavy deployment of Indian forces and ban on pre-paid phones and internetservices are causing great inconveniences to the people not only throughoutthe territory but also from the world.
According to media reports, a truck driver from Rajasthan was shot dead andhis vehicle was set ablaze by unidentified gunmen in Shopian district.
Executive Editor of Kashmir Times Anuradha Bhasin, in her rejoinderaffidavit in the Indian Supreme Court, has said that New Delhi and the IOKadministration have suppressed from the top court the relevant orders andnotifications relating to communications shutdown and internet blockade inthe Kashmir Valley.
