ISLAMABAD – In the US state of Carolina, seven people have been killed by apowerful storm Florence, forcing thousands of other people to stay inemergency shelters.
Weather forecasters have warned of the risk of life-threatening flashflooding in parts of North and South Carolina and Virginia due to the storm.
Evacuation warnings have been issued for 1.7 million people in the region.
According to latest forecast, the storm is expected to pass northwestthrough South Carolina today and tomorrow morning. After that, it will keepcurving to north.
