MUZAFFARABAD: The veteran APHC leader Syed Ali Gilani appealed to government of Pakistan to play its role comprehensively to stop Indian genocide in Indian held Kashmir and raise the issue on international forums to generate pressure on Indian Government for amicable settlement of long awaited Kashmir dispute as per the wishes of Kashmiri people.
He expressed these views while talking to APP on telephone from Srinagar (IHK) here on Thursday.
He said that Indian occupied forces have turned the whole valley into a jail and its forces have started new wave of terror by indiscriminate firing, torturing, killing and molestation of women but Kashmiri people could not be terrorized by such inhuman tactics as it has failed to do so for the last three decades, he added.
Gilani said Kashmiri people are peace loving and want peaceful settlement of the issue but it is India which is using the dialogue as a weapon of delaying tactics.
Pakistan has made many sincere efforts to resolve the issue through Indo-Pak dialogue and engaged India 150 times to resolve the core issue of Kashmir, he added.
