ISLAMABAD – Former PM Nawaz Sharif lands into trouble as Islamabad HighCourt (IHC) on Tuesday declared petition seeking legal action againstPakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif over Mumabiattacks’ remarks admissible for hearing.
IHC had summoned reply from Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) DirectorGeneral, Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) chairmanand Pakistan Telecom Authority (PTA) chairman in this regard.
The petitioners had pleaded to direct PEMRA chairman to impose ban on NawazSharif’s anti-judiciary cases. They further pleaded to remove allanti-state content from social media sites.
IHC had made Nawaz Sharif, FIA DG, PEMRA chairman and PTA chairmanplaintiffs in the case.
