*DUBAI – Six Pakistani men were killed after a fire broke out at a villa inAl-Ain in the UAE Sunday night, reported The Khaleej Timeslink.*
The deceased have been identified as Omer Farouq, his brother Khurram,their father Farouq, relative Ali Haider and two family friends, KhayalAfzal and Eid Nawaz.
Fifty-year-old Muhammad Raheem is the lone survivor of the tragedy. He saidthat he escaped after smashing open the aluminum roof of a bathroom. Hesaid that he tried to pull Omer out, but he had fallen unconscious becauseof the smoke.
The police said that the survivor had failed to inform them as soon as thefire broke out, causing it to spread rapidly.
