Occupied Kashmir Anti Terrorism Court unjustly indicted Kashmiri freedom fighter in fake case registered 30 years ago

ISLAMABAD – An anti-terrorism court in Jammu has unjustly indicted Kashmirifreedom leaders in a fake case registered against them over thirty 30 yearsago.

Charges were framed against Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front ChairmanMuhammad Yasin Malik, Ali Mohammad Mir, Manzoor Ahmed Sofi, Javed Ahmed Mirand Shoukat Ahmed Bakshi without giving them their legal right to defendthemselves.

The denial of right to defense alongwith the Court’s observation thatIndia’s Central Bureau of Investigation ‘appears to have supportedallegations against the accused’ has drawn wide criticism from legalexperts who have termed it a biased approach of judiciary against theKashmiri leaders.
