*ISLAMABAD – Renowned anchorperson Dr Amir Liaqat Hussain finally gets thepardon from the Supreme Court of Pakistan.*
*The Supreme Court wrapped up on Thursday the contempt of court caseagainst MNA Dr Aamir Liaquat and accepted his unconditional apology.*
It has cautioned him not to repeat the offence in which he used hate speechand derogatory language against individuals, including media persons. Thecase was initiated against him for failing to adhere to earlier promisesnot to use hate speech again.
The three-member bench headed by Chief Justice Saqib Nisar had ordered himto tender an unconditional apology in the case.

When he was tendering his apology, the chief justice observed that from hisface he did not seem to be very apologetic. Dr Liaquat said that if hemakes the mistake again he will give up his right to apologise.
