ISLAMABAD – The federal cabinet has postponed the approval of ordinancessent by the Law Ministry.
The approval of ordinances pertaining to amendment to NAB Laws, ‘benami’transactions, Legal and Justice Authority, superior courts, Letter ofAdministration and Succession and women’s inheritance rights have beenpostponed.
The cabinet has decided to form a special committee on the NAB casesagainst civil servants and businessmen. The NAB will send the cases againstcivil servants and businessmen to the committee before launching theinquiry against them.
Talking to the media after the cabinet meeting, Special Assistant to thePrime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Firdous Ashiq Awan said thatthe prime minister has taken the cabinet into confidence over his visits toChina and Iran.
