ISLAMABAD – Former Test Cricketer Mohsin Khan to be given key post inPakistan Cricket Board.
Former Pakistan Test cricketer and chief selector Mohsin Khan has nowbecome a strong candidate for the post of national team manager.
The former Test cricketer had also applied for head coach and the PakistanCricket Board (PCB) called him for an interview but Misbah-ul-Haq wasappointed chief selector and head coach, which also angered Mohsin Khan.
Sources say that Chairman PCB Ehsan Mani spoke to Mohsin Khan a few daysago and it is likely that he will be given significant responsibility inthe board.
According to sources, the former Test cricketer is a strong candidate to bethe manager of the national team.
In the past Mohsin Khan’s relations with Misbah-ul-Haq were good. In 2012Pakistan became the Test number team when Mohsin Khan was the coach andMisbah-ul-Haq was the captain.
