Federal government released funds worth Rs 84 billion under PSDP

ISLAMABAD – Federal government has released Rs 84.43 billion for variousongoing and new development projects under Public Sector DevelopmentProgram (PSDP) 2019-20.

The government has released 12 percent of the total budgeted allocation ofRs 701 billion. The government has released Rs 18.8 billion for developmentprojects of various ministries, divisions and related departments out of Rs327.85 billion budgeted allocation.

The government has released Rs 18.14 billion for the development projectsof National Highway Authority (NHA) out of Rs 154.966 billion budgetedallocation and Rs 26.78 billion have been released for security enhancementagainst Rs 32.5 billion budget allocation.

The government released Rs 1.447 billion out of Rs 9.85 billion fordevelopment projects of Interior Division and Rs 2.237 billion for NationalHealth Services, Regulations and Coordination Division. A total of Rs 4.45billion have been released for Foreign Affairs Division against Rs 29.05billion budgeted allocation.

The Ministry of Planning, Development and Reform also has released Rs 4.86billion against the total allocation of Rs 27.264 billion budget allocationfor development projects of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) and Rs 2.885billion for the development projects of Gilgit-Baltistan against Rs 17.585billion budget allocation.
