Pakistan gets a good news from Saudi Arabia

ISLAMABAD – Saudi Arabia has agreed to screen Pakistani movies and TVshows in the Kingdom under the special initiative of Prince Mohammad BinSalman.

Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have inked the cultural pact.

Pakistani movies and dramas will be screened in Saudi Arabia and vice versa.

Details of the cultural agreement were finalised between Federal Ministerfor Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry and his Saudi counterpartDr Awad bin Saleh when the latter visited Islamabad last week.

The initiative will allow actors to gain popularity and stardom outside oftheir own countries.

According to an official of the information ministry, Pakistan signedcultural agreements with Islamic countries in the past, hoping that therecent one will be fruitful.

“We are already tied in religious, cultural and societal relations withSaudi Arabia,” he said. “This move will hopefully bring the two countriescloser.
