ISLAMABAD – The Election Commission of Pakistan has lifted ban on newrecruitments.
A notification issued by the commission today states that the caretakergovernments may make acting or short term appointments in public interest.
It merits mentioning here that the commission in its earlier order on 11thApril had imposed ban on all kinds of recruitments except the ones throughthe Federal or provincial public service commissions.
Candidates can submit letters of party affiliation to ROs concerned by 29thJune
Election Commission of Pakistan has said that the candidates can submitletters of party affiliation to the Returning Officer concerned by 29th ofthis month.
According to ECP, the Returning Officers had already been issuedinstructions in this regard, but there have been reports that they aredemanding letters of party affiliation from the candidates during scrutinyof their papers.
