ISLAMABAD – The Panama Case Joint Investigation Team has expanded its probe to the Prime Minister Family as now the son in law of PM Nawaz Sharif, Captain (R) Safdar has been summoned by the JIT.
The Joint Investigation Team (JIT) probing the offshore holdings of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his children has summoned his son-in-law, Capt. (retd) Safdar, to appear before it on June 24 (Saturday) at 11: AM, private news channel have reported here on Wednesday night.
Capt. (retd) Safdar will appear before the six-member JIT, headed by Federal Investigation Agency’s Additional Director Wajid Zia, eight days after the prime minister’s scheduled appearance.
Mr. Safdar has been asked to bring along with him relevant record/documents/material related to the Panama Papers case.
