Muslim converts Ghotki sisters exposed Indian propaganda behind false news of forcible conservation

*Asia and Nadia, Muslim converts from Ghotki, who were allowed by theIslamabad High Court to live with their husbands after a medical reportconfirmed they were adult at the time they changed their religion, say theyare ‘very happy’ to be Muslims.*

Talking to ARY News in the program Bakhabar Sawera, Asia and Nadia saidthey had chosen to be Muslims and were not forced by anyone. “No one haspressurised us to accept Islam, we wanted to become Muslims sincechildhood”, said one of the girls.

They further said that their mother wanted them to come back to theirparental home, but said they weren’t willing to do that.

“We cannot and don’t want to go back to home, we will live with ourhusbands”, said Asia, further adding that they hadn’t got a chance tobecome a Muslim earlier, and they were happy to have come into ambit ofIslam now.

Their husbands, Safdar Ali and Barkat Ali spoke to ARY News in the sameprogram and dismissed any impression that the girls were pressurised tochange their religion.

They said that the women had testified before the court and the media thatno one had forced them and they had changed their religion out of theirfree will.

They also said that India was behind the negative propaganda againstPakistan that the country is not safe for its minorities.

“Whenever a girl converts to Islam in Pakistan, its said that either theywere underage or were kidnapped, both of things don’t hold true in thiscase”, they said.
