ISLAMABAD – Sri Lanka’s Chief of Defence Staff Admiral Ravindra C.Wijegunaratne called on Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Zafar MahmoodAbbasi in Islamabad on Thursday.
During the meeting, matters of mutual interest including defence relatedcollaboration and maritime security dynamics were discussed.
The Naval Chief highlighted Pakistan Navy’s efforts for ensuring maritimesecurity and peace in the region through Regional Maritime Security Patroland regular bilateral/ multilateral engagements with other countries.
