*ISLAMABAD:* A Senate body on Tuesday suggested a pre-CSS screening testfor candidates who’re scheduled to sit for the competitive CSS examination,as reported by a* local English daily.link>*
The committee— created to go through the curriculum of differentgroups—conducted a meeting with Senator Muzaffar Hussain Shah in the chair.
Various issues were discussed in the committee, in which the members alsodeliberated upon the need to introduce screening tests as the number of CSScandidates had increased manifold recently.
The size and capacity of the Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) isstill the same, however. Several meetings have been held by the committeeto decide upon the recommendations which will be presented before theSenate.
Secretary FPSC Ameer Tariq Zaman and other officials informed the meetingthat the current six compulsory and optional subjects for the CSS exam areupdated and have fulfilled the contemporary requirements.
