ISLAMABAD – Maryam Nawaz said on Wednesday that the National AccountabilityBureau (NAB) has nothing against the Sharif family which is why they arefiling additional references against them.
“One after another reference means neither they found another nor theywill,” she said.
She reacted to the anti-graft body’s decision to file supplementaryreferences against the ex-prime minister Nawaz Sharif in accountabilitycourt over Al Azizia and Flagship cases.
Maryam said the top court’s decision to disqualify Nawaz Sharif over hisIqama (UAE work permit) will not be remembered in good words in the historyof justice. “People have rejected the (Supreme Court’s) verdict.
She also pointed out that such orders will have consequences in future.
