JERUSLAEM – Three Israeli soldiers were killed and two others wereseriously wounded in an anti-occupation shooting attack near Silwad town inthe West Bank Ramallah province on Thursday.
The Israeli military said in a statement that sounds of gunshots weredetected near Gi’vat Asaf settlement outpost and immediately rushed to thescene.
Ynet news said that the attack was a drive-by shooting on Route 60, acentral artery that runs through the West Bank. The attack occurred ataround 11:15am, some 5km south of the illegal West Bank settlement of Ofra,at the Giv’at Asaf outpost.

Israeli media reported that the attackers managed to flee the area and thatthe Israeli army forces were chasing them.
